Sexual offenses against children and adolescents in virtual environments

Abstract

The following book is presented, which develops the theme of crime under the virtual modality and that affects children and adolescents, it seeks to describe the problems that occur throughout the continent and part of the world, in order to raise awareness in citizens and make visible the facts that disturb this vulnerable population. In addition, we want to arouse interest in further research and expand knowledge in this area and how through the legality and development of proposals can be carried out concrete and effective actions to combat this scourge, that even with the existence of legal mechanisms and international conventions the numbers continue to increase, and are known when there is the complaint, not counting those who do not communicate for various reasons. In this documentary-bibliographic compilation, there is an endless amount of content that will allow the elaboration of new proposals and ideas capable of contributing to the effective fight against sexual crimes in virtual environments.
