Keywords:
Epistemology, Method, Foundation, (Words taken from the UNESCO Thesaurus)Abstract
This book serves as an instructional guide for law students, equipping them with the necessary tools to conduct legal research independently, without external advisors. It explores epistemological foundations, the scientific method, distinctions between method and technique, and key aspects of legal methodology. Additionally, it systematically outlines each phase of the research process, including problem formulation, literature review, theoretical framework development, methodological design, data collection and analysis, and final presentation of results. The book aims to foster genuine interest in legal research, challenge misconceptions about its complexity, and provide practical resources for producing rigorous and relevant academic work. Furthermore, it encourages students to contribute to legal scholarship while acknowledging the support of the Bolivarian University of Ecuador in promoting academic production, enriching legal studies, and strengthening engagement with the scientific community.
